Before it, people needed to come on the weekends to change samples. The whole setup costs about US$500 and substitutes a machine that costs US$250,000. The main challenge was to open the lids. Each lid weighs more than 300kg. The video only shows 7 samples being processed, but the whole 9 samples were processed that day. This is another autosampler that can work with an analytical instrument by means of AutoIt.
