Tecan’s Quad4 Monochromators technology uses two excitation monochromators and two emission monochromators. The premium Quad4 Monochromators system of the Infinite M1000 PRO plate reader further optimizes this technology, using a flash lamp with double the power and switchable flash frequency settings (for fluorescence intensity) to provide even more light to both the sample and the detector, as well as offering improved spectral blocking and extended stray light reduction down to 2x10-7.
