Tecan’s Quad4 Monochromators technology uses two excitation monochromators and two emission monochromators. The premium Quad4 Monochromators system of the Infinite M1000 PRO plate reader further optimizes this technology, using a flash lamp with double the power and switchable flash frequency settings (for fluorescence intensity) to provide even more light to both the sample and the detector, as well as offering improved spectral blocking and extended stray light reduction down to 2x10-7. The new Infinite M1000 PRO, Tecan’s latest modular multimode microplate reader with AlphaScreen®/AlphaLISA® technology, is equipped with premium Quad4 Monochromators and also features adjustable bandwidth settings to ultra-fine tune the amount of excitation and emission light to optimize the sensitivity for fluorescence based measurements. You can run advanced assay types like FRET, TR-FRET, fluorescence polarization and glow/flash luminescence and eliminate the need for absorbance and fluorescence filters.
