  • A cellular automaton model was developed, incorporating the cell cycle and the interaction of chemotherapy compounds. In order to calibrate the model behavior, fluorescence biomarker data was generated in vitro, and combined with high content image analysis. Image based single cell analysis and classification of the cellular phenotypes provided quantitative estimation of DNA damage, distribution of cell cycle phases, and other forms of toxicity.
