  • We now have the ability to read the genome very efficiently. We have, in the past ten years, come up with ways of reading out the genome sequences of cancers. You can sequence a person's gene, get their complete sequence. You can do that for an adult, for a new born baby, for an unborn baby, but that raises lots of issues.
