Improvement of Cell Culture Technology for Primary Cells and Stem Cell Manipulation

Abstract
Culture of cells for screening and production for cell-based therapeutics requires robust and standardized manufacturing procedures. The presentation will show how we try to optimize culturing technology for stem cells, induced pluripotent cells and progenitor cells. We describe how we develop new products to improve basic research, accelerate drug discovery and enable translational research in these emerging technologies. By using automated cell culture and cell-based screening solutions we are optimizing culture media. We will present how we achieve more efficient basic and translational research and how that translates direct into clinical applications.
