This is Organomation Organomation. A unique name for a unique company. We are a small family owned business located in Berlin, Massachusetts that manufactures laboratory evaporators and extractors. We started in 1959 by Dr. Neal McNiven, an organic chemistry analyst who started his career at the Worcester Foundation in Massachusetts. Dr. McNiven spent countless hours of his time drying down his test samples prior to analysis, a common sample preparation step. Doing this by hand was quite time consuming, and he realized there had to be a better way to do this. The company has a very interesting story that Dr. Neal McNiven was a chemist and an engineer, and he actually invented many of our product designs for his own use at the Worcester Foundation, which is where he worked as a chemist. The company is currently owned and operated by his two children. To this day, all of our evaporators are fully assembled by hand. Each part is carefully put together and tested by our skilled production staff, earning us a Manufacturing Excellence Award in 2019. We strive to maintain the highest level of quality by sourcing the finest parts, many of which are manufactured locally within the United States. Our warehouse also includes a machine shop where we create custom parts for some of our instruments. Our production staff utilizes a CNC machine to drill materials such as aluminum and Delrin. This process allows us to tailor each product for a specific customer. Providing a superior customer experience and educating others on the evaporation industry are forerunners of the Organomation business model. Since 1959, we’ve sold products to over 100 countries. Being a small business that operates on a global scale is certainly no small feat. Organomation aims to partner with its customers, and to me that starts with availability. So, whether you’re just learning about sample preparation or you’ve been applying nitrogen evaporation for decades, we are ready to provide service on demand. Our instruments are well suited to be trusted by laboratories worldwide because they are durable, easy to use, and long-lasting with minimal maintenance. Organomation has invested in a vast distributor network, which helps us serve laboratories wherever we are. We continue to invest in our website, to make it a valuable resource to laboratory technicians. We also love to visit our customers at their labs, to learn about both their research and testing challenges. The entire Organomation team takes pride in their work, and is excited to see how the brand will continue to grow throughout the future. We are truly dedicated to customer satisfaction, and being your partner in sample preparation. If solvent removal has become a bottleneck for your lab, Organomation has a solution for you.
