Induced pluripotent stem cells (also known as iPS cells or iPSCs) are a type of pluripotent stem cells that are derived from various somatic cells by introduction of sets of pluripotency-associated genes or reprogramming factors. The iPSC technology enables the development of any type of human cells. Tissues derived from iPSCs are nearly identical to the cell donor and thus can avoid immune system rejection. Thus, iPS cells are useful tools in drug development and transplantation medicine. https://www.creative-biogene.com/products/ips-lentiviral-particles.html
