Whether it's a viscous sample, a tall container, or anything in between, transferring a liquid sample into a digestion vessel can be challenging. The sample should be at the bottom of the vessel to ensure full contact with the acid that is a critical part of the digestion process. Sample stuck to the side could create hot spots and may prevent complete digestion.
