Federated analysis of genomics data - the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health test

Aridhia recently led a test for the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) trialling the concept and execution of federated genomic analysis in a bid to address the collaboration and computational challenges facing research. From our base in Scotland, and using the GA4GH Genomics API and one of our AnalytiXagility workspaces, we opened connections to databases at centres in Australia, Russia, the USA and Northern Ireland before selecting, aggregating, analysing and visualising relevant data.
