The ProteOn XPR36 system is a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor platform that provides real-time label-free analysis of the specificity, affinity, and kinetics of biomolecular interactions. Using the XPR36 configuration, the system features a novel 6×6 interaction array for the simultaneous analysis of up to six ligands with up to six analytes. Recently, the uses of the ProteOn XPR36 system have extended to a number of new application areas, including fragment-based drug discovery, liposome-based drug delivery model, cell analysis, antibiotics detection, and others. In addition, new techniques such as Quantikinetics, SPR-MS coupling, and regenerable biotin-capture surface chemistry were developed to enhance the usability and experimental convenience of the system. In this presentation, we summarize the new applications and techniques to provide you with new tools for applying SPR technology.
