  • Time-lapse movies acquired using IncuCyte® ZOOM live-cell analysis system showing real-time analysis of HT-1080 tumor cell proliferation following treatment with either the anti-cancer drug camptothecin (test) or vehicle (control). Proliferation is monitored by analyzing the cell occupied area (% confluence) of images over time. As cells die or proliferate, the cell confluence value either decreases or increases. IncuCyte ZOOM integrated image analysis tools enable label-free detection and measurement of confluence; an excellent surrogate for proliferation until the point that cells are densely packed or when large changes in morphology occur. Assay concept: ● Measure cell proliferation using live cell time-lapse imaging, with or without labels. Easily generate long-term growth and growth-inhibition curves and monitor morphology ● Calculate growth rates and doubling times and explore co-cultures ● Multiplex proliferation readouts with measurements of apoptosis or cytotoxicity by combining with the IncuCyte™ Caspase 3/7 Reagent or IncuCyte™ Cytotox Reagents Learn more at www.essenbio.com/proliferation
