New Topics in Protein Modeling: Assignment of heptad positions at helix-helix interfaces. New method is described to assign heptad positions to amino acid residues located at helix-helix interfaces. Assignment of a and d positions is used in the prediction of interhelical angles, protein structure, protein-ligand interactions. This new method is very simple to use. Algorithm is implemented and automated.
