Malvern Instruments' Archimedes is a new, highly innovative instrument which uses the technique of resonant mass measurement to detect and accurately count particles in the size range 50nm - 5µm, and reliably measure their buoyant mass, dry mass and size. Particularly useful for the detection and characterization of protein aggregates in formulation or buffer, Archimedes is also able to distinguish between proteinaceous material and contaminants such as silicone oil by means of comparing their relative resonant frequencies and buoyant masses. Morphologi G3-ID - automated particle size, shape & chemical identity measurement 

The Malvern NanoSight range of instruments utilizes Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) to characterize nanoparticles including exosomes, from 10nm -2000nm* in solution. 

Each particle is individually but simultaneously analyzed by direct observation and measurement of diffusion events. This particle-by-particle methodology produces high resolution results for particle size distribution and count, while visual validation provides users with additional confidence in their data. Both particle size and count are measured, while a fluorescence mode provides differentiation of labelled or naturally fluorescing particles.

Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis - NanoSight in 90 seconds

The Malvern NanoSight NS300 Instrument provides an easy-to-use, reproducible platform for nanoparticle characterization using Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis. The NS300, which is optimized for fluorescence work, allows rapid, automated analysis of the size distribution and concentration of all types of nanoparticles from 10nm to 2000nm in diameter, depending on the instrument configuration and sample type. The introduction of a motorized 6 place filter wheel controlled from within the software means multiple labels can be analyzed. A software-controlled motorized optical stage enables rapid relocation and refocusing following cleaning, improving reproducibility. Sample temperature is fully programmable through the Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) software. The Zetasizer µV (MicroV) is a dual purpose light scattering instrument designed specifically for the analysis of proteins.
