In this video our BioSprint 96 Robot uses magnetic beads to extract total genomic DNA from samples. 
The DNA binds to the beads (brown color) and is moved from one wash to the next bound to the magnetic rods (silver rods).

DNA Extraction service includes:
 Cell Lysis and Proteinase K digestion
 Bar-code verification and sample transfers
 Invitrogen Dynal Magnetic Bead extraction
 Capacity for up to 1,500 samples per day
 Quantification by Pico Green Assay
 Return or banking of extracted DNAs in bar-coded tubes or plates.
