Tubes are held loosely for easy access during benchtop work. Press tubes into the rack to ensure there are no “pop-up” tubes or “floaters”. Once they are out of the water, press the legs of the rack on the bench to raise the tubes and easily remove them. These racks provide tubes with maximum contact with the water and better circulation of the water bath around the tubes, allowing superior temperature control of your samples. Two sizes hold 1.5 to 2ml MCT tubes (60-place) or 5ml centrifuge tubes, including Eppendorf* brand (24-place). Made of durable, corrosion resistant white polypropylene plastic, the Floating Centrifuge Tube Racks are also autoclavable.
